1 48 (a) (b)

(a) No child shall be subjected to forced labor or to be allowed to work in the worst form.

(b) The working age of the child shall not be less than 14 years. If the age limit set for the free and compulsory education system in accordance with the state educational objectives is more than 14 years, the working age of school children should not be less than that age.

If any of the following acts are committed against a child, whether or not they are involved, that person shall be considered as the perpetrator, whether the child wishes or not:

(a) sexually abusing a child, the transfer of a child's body part for profit or forced child labor, to sell for that purpose, offer transfer or acceptance;

(b) being forced to work as a prostitute, making an offer for compulsion, acquisition purchase or supply;

(c) distributing child pornography or offering thereof, sales, making ownership, importing or exporting.

3 100 (a)

(a) If any person is convicted of committing any of the following acts, he/she shall be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding one month and not more than six months. A minimum of 100,000 kyats and a maximum of 300,000 kyats or both penalties shall be imposed:

(i) ask to buy alcohol, beer, encouraging of sales or permitting for drinking;

(ii) admission to a party (day club, nightclub), karaoke or massage parlor without parents or relatives;

(iii) psychological violence;

(iv) beating and punishment;

(v) physical harassment.

4 101 (b)

(b) If any person is convicted of committing any of the following acts, he/she shall be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding five months and a maximum of two years or a minimum of 500,000 kyats and a maximum of ten hundred thousand kyats or both penalties shall be imposed:

(i) forcing or permitting to work in the beer, alcohol business;

(ii) forcing or allowing to work at a party (day club, nightclub) related to sex work, karaoke or massage parlor;

5 103 (a)

(a) If a child is convicted of committing any of the following acts, he/she shall be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding eight months and a maximum of five years and a fine of not less than eight hundred thousand kyats but not more than one hundred thousand kyats.

(i) violence, abuse, plagiarism or discrimination against a child with a disability;

(ii) forced labor, which causes physical, psychological or reputational harm;

(iii) forcing or permitting to do work that is harmful to health Dangerous work;;

(iv) forced labor or forced labor;

(v) torture and cruelty; Inhumane or degrading treatment or punishment.

6 105 (a)

(a) Whoever is convicted of committing any of the following acts shall be punished with imprisonment for a term of not less than one year and not more than seven years and shall be fined not less than one hundred thousand kyats but not more than two hundred thousand kyats:

(i) a child under the guardian person who has been purposely allowing to engaged with the person who is doing prostitution business;

(ii) a child under the guardian person who purposely ignoring that the child is making a living as a prostitute;

(iii) asking or allowing a child to have sex by accommodating at the hotel, motel, guest house, beauty salon or restaurant;

(iv) distributing child pornography or offering thereof, sales, making ownership, importing or exporting.

(v) forced marriage or be married.

7 105 (b)

(b) whoever is convicted of committing any of the following acts shall be punished with imprisonment for a term of not less than two years and not more than ten years and the fine with not less than 12 lakhs and not more than 15 lakhs:

(i) forcing a child into prostitution;

(ii) making a living by forcing children to work as prostitutes;

(iii) using a child for sexual abuse or exploitation, by paying money or property, seduction or offer.

8 106

Whoever is convicted of any of the following offenses shall be punished with the imprisonment for a term of not less than ten years and not more than 20 years and shall be fined not less than 5 million kyats but not more than 10 million kyats.

(a) selling a child;

(b) selling or purchasing a child's body organs, removing and taking Illegally, transplanting or substituting by knowing it is illegal.

The offences contained in this Law shall be deemed as cognizable offences.
